Dr. Garcia shared that our nation’s heroes face visible and invisible wounds long after service ends. Organizations like United Heroes of America and the Paralyzed Veterans of America make a difference by providing essential resources, advocating for specialized care, and fostering community support.

Dr. Garcia emphasized that addressing veteran matters isn’t about politics but humanity. It’s about honoring the mission these men and women began when they wore the uniform.

Yesterday, Tina Garcia and Donovan Garcia of VAST Solutions had the privilege of partnering with Lockheed Martin at their Waterton, Colorado campus to connect with the MilVet Business Resource Group for an engaging seminar as part of an ongoing Fireside Chat series on veteran benefits. Together, they explored a variety of educational and training resources available to veterans, designed to empower their career journeys and support ongoing growth.

We look forward to our next Education and Outreach seminar this Saturday, July 13 at Bemis Library in Littleton, CO.

We will have some great guests from the Veterans Administration on hand to answer your questions and Military Broadcast RADIO will be conducting an on-site remote podcast.

This is a great opportunity to meet and network with veterans and learn about benefits available to veterans, caregivers, and family members.

This week I was humbled and honored with an award for my commitment and service work to military, veterans & first responders while at VAST Solutions from Operation Circle Back

While sadly I was unable to attend the ceremony, I look forward to working with Operation Circle Back and other individuals and organizations that continue to provide valuable support to these communities.

Just a reminder to Denver area veterans and caregivers - we'll hold another education and outreach session tomorrow at Bemis Library in Littleton from 0900 to 1200.

We'll have VA claims reps available to answer questions and service officers from Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and a local veteran-owned mortgage broker to talk about recent changes to VA loans.

**REMINDER**

Starting March 5, 2024, the VA is expanding health care to *All Veterans* exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving —at home or abroad—all will be eligible to enroll directly in VA health care without first applying for VA benefits.

The PACT Act is a law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. This law helps us provide generations of Veterans—and their survivors—with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve. And starting March 5, 2024, w...

Did You Know?

The National Park Service offers a free lifetime Military Pass for Gold Star Families and US military and a free annual Military Pass for current US members and their dependents.

The passes provide free access to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks, wildlife refuges, and forests. Passes can be picked up in person or ordered online for a $10 fee.

The National Park Service in partnership with Operation Live Well would like to thank military personnel and their families for their service and invite them to enjoy their national parks.
