Let there be silence. Silence is a strategy that can provide additional information and allow us to understand the interests of others, and frankly, it is an essential practice for all communications.

Try to insert silence with people you talk to regularly. Observe how it changes the average cadence and creates new angles in the discussion.

It is still a bit surreal to think I have a published book.

My Mom is almost finished with the book and called today to ask about a big ask and what it means to see the power shift in the conversation. At 89, she is still refining her negotiation strategies.
