Pretending you're a rock ( ) is a way to calm down quickly.
Why it works: Lowers cortisol, boosts serotonin, and brings a sense of calm—without you having to say, “Ummm” for hours.
How to do it: Close your eyes, focus on your breath, and observe your thoughts without judgment for 5–10 minutes. If the thought of meditation stresses you out (oh, the irony), try a quick body scan. Just remember, your goal isn’t to empty your mind, it’s just to keep yourself from flipping tables.
