A ribbon cutting lasts a few seconds but what came before it took years.The plans. The people. The decisions. The early mornings and late nights. Turning an empty piece of ground into a place hundreds of people will eventually call home.

Last year, at 5280 Community Waste Solutions LLC. had the opportunity to capture the ribbon cutting for Thompson Thrift Premier at West Park in Greeley, celebrating a new community, the people who brought it to life, and the beginning of what comes next.

Through a recent donation drive at one of our student-housing communities, residents gave clothing, bedding, shoes, hangers and other reusable items a second life and keeping usable goods out of the landfill and putting them into the hands of a local charity.

At 5280 Community Waste Solutions LLC. , we believe reusable items should be reused. The clue is right there in the word.

A big thank-you to the residents who donated, the onsite team that supported the drive and our charity partner for helping these items find their next home.

One of our 5280 Community Waste Solutions LLC. techs collected this entire load while servicing a multifamily community in Parker.
