Today’s member spotlight features Austin Polinsky, owner of Pearce Bespoke Greater Syracuse.
Although not originally from Central New York, Austin grew up in the Syracuse area and proudly calls it home. He later served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer and Squad Leader, where he was responsible for leading Marines, developing teams, and operating in demanding environments where discipline, accountability, and attention to detail were essential. The leadership principles and standards he learned in the Marine Corps continue to influence both his personal and professional life today.
One of the experiences that had the greatest impact on Austin was putting on his Marine Corps Dress Blues for the first time. He often describes it as a moment that changed how he carried himself, giving him a level of confidence, pride, and professionalism he had never experienced before. That experience would later become one of the inspirations behind his business and his belief that confidence starts with the perfect fit.
Following his military service, Austin built a career in sales before pursuing entrepreneurship and becoming the owner of Pearce Bespoke Syracuse. As a veteran-owned business, Pearce Bespoke provides a luxury mobile custom clothing experience, bringing professionally curated fabrics, expert measurements, and personalized styling directly to clients in their homes and offices throughout Central New York.
Austin believes that custom clothing is about much more than appearance.
