The Mountains of Courage conference this past weekend was an absolute BLAST! It was exciting to hear about the possibility of new disposition methods (aquamation and natural organic reduction) making their way into the Big Sky, as well as learning about the different ways death can reacquaint us with the beauty of life.

I have greatly enjoyed reading the works of Thich Nhat Hanh over the years and found his philosophy on death to be both inspiring and comforting.

"I knew this body was not mine but a living continuation of my mother and my father and my grandparents and great-grandparents. Of all my ancestors. Those feet that I saw as "my" feet were actually "our" feet. Together my mother and I were leaving footprints in the damp soil."

Thich Nhat Hanh, who taught mindfulness for decades, approached death in that same spirit.
