Fifteen years ago, when Hurricane Sandy and the nor’easter caused widespread outages across New Jersey, The Eisenhower opened its property to JCP&L as a staging site for hundreds of line crews and other workers supporting the restoration effort. We’re grateful to Don L., then President of JCP&L, for trusting our team during such a difficult time and for sharing his experience.

Since then, making our spaces and resources available for public service, emergency response, and community needs has remained an important part of how we operate, and we’re proud to continue that commitment today.

Eastman Companies was pleased to support the Young Men’s Service League recently, benefiting Sleep in Heavenly Peace of Morris County. Volunteers built 44 beds in one day, all of which will go to children in New Jersey who do not currently have a bed of their own.

We’re glad our property and our parking lot could provide the space needed for such an impactful day of service and aid the important work these organizations are doing for local families.

Business continuity depends on having the right systems in place when unexpected power disruptions occur. The Eisenhower provides an important layer of protection with backup power capabilities, including a 1,500 kW standby generator with capacity to support tenant needs during an outage.

Tenants have leveraged standby power for IT loads as well as typical office operations, including lighting, outlets, and HVAC. For businesses that depend on consistent access to technology and critical systems, that added reliability can make a significant difference when primary power is interrupted.

Each year, The Eisenhower donates its 220-seat auditorium to the Children’s Theatre of Livingston for its annual performances. The space is converted into a fully functioning theater for the organization’s 45 young performers, with our team providing support throughout rehearsal week and four shows.

The auditorium has also served as a venue for the Livingston Community Players and their semi-professional productions. By making the space available to both organizations, we’re proudly helping local performers continue bringing live theater to audiences in Livingston.

We’ve seen that flexibility serve our tenants firsthand as their businesses have grown. CoreWeave recently doubled its headquarters footprint with an additional 31,000 square feet, while Acorn Financial Services expanded to over 10,000 square feet. We’re pleased to continue accommodating both companies as their operations and space requirements evolve.

The Eisenhower’s exterior has a sharper look. Recent façade improvements include a new paint finish and other exterior enhancements that give the property a polished appearance while maintaining its established character.
The completed work is part of our continued investment in The Eisenhower, with additional updates planned for key interior spaces in the months ahead.
