Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country.
The world is on fire — ransomware crews, nation-state actors, supply-chain attacks. The threats are global and they don’t take days off. But here’s what I know after a career in this fight: the defenders are global too.
Every analyst pulling a late shift in a SOC. Every vCISO walking a small business through their first incident response plan. Every pen tester who finds the hole before the bad guys do. Every volunteer protecting a nonprofit, a school, a first-responder unit that can’t afford a security team. That’s the line. That’s who holds it.
We don’t win this by being louder than the threat. We win by showing up — together, every day, for the people who are counting on us and don’t even know our names.
