Arrived at the courts and saw three 25 year olds with great basketball skills shooting around and making 3 pointers like most people make layups. I asked if we could play a 2 on 2 game to 11 and one of them asked…”are you sure?” Like they would need to call an ambulance during the game. I’m not that old I said…almost 67 but have been training and stretching for years and actually wearing grounding shoes with no socks…I felt like a kid again. No injuries, no soreness the next day and we took the game 11-9. My teammate does push-ups on scissors…what a coincidence! There’s nothing like a great pick up game of bball!!!

WACKY WEATHER WORKOUTS
0° or 100°… The Mission Doesn’t Change.
I’ve trained in 0° weather in the snow and in 100° heat, fully dressed with a hat and gloves.
Why?
Because the weather isn’t the challenge. The mind is.
Every day I’m working on marketing innovative products, filming PAIN FOR GAIN TV, and growing the brand of The Adventures of Little Billy: In Search of the Magic Tree. Between those projects, I deliberately put myself through physical challenges that remind me of one simple truth:
You have to become comfortable being uncomfortable.
Every business, invention, book, television show, or dream will test you. There will be rejection, setbacks, unexpected obstacles, and moments when quitting seems easier than continuing.
Training in the harshest conditions teaches discipline, resilience, focus, and determination long before those moments arrive.
The weather changes.
The obstacles change.
The marketplace changes.
But your commitment shouldn’t.
That’s how brands are built.
That’s how ideas become reality.
That’s how impossible becomes possible.
Train your body. Train your mind. Then take that same mindset into everything you do.

Before I ever pick up the 11-pound Viking Wood Splitting Sword, I prepare my body for the challenge.

I train with 40 pounds of steel rings on my arms and a 10-pound weighted bar with a heavy ball at the end, building strength, endurance, control, and grip power.

Then comes the test.

When I pick up the Viking Wood Splitting Sword, it feels lighter, moves faster, and cuts through wood like butter.

The lesson is simple:

Train harder than the task requires.
When you deliberately make preparation more difficult, the real challenge becomes easier.

Strength isn’t built when things are easy.
It’s built by embracing resistance long before the moment of performance.

The harder the training, the easier the battle. ⚔️💪

🌳✨ FROM HARDCOVER BOOK TO HIGH SCHOOL STAGE — THE REVIEWS ARE IN! ✨🌳

What began as a children’s book inspired by the wisdom of high achievers became a memorable theatrical experience thanks to the incredible students and staff at Livingston High School.

“The Adventures of Little Billy: In Search of the Magic Tree” came to life on stage, sharing its timeless message of Service, Attitude, Courage, Empathy, and Determination with a whole new audience.

The reviews have been overwhelming, heartwarming, and deeply appreciated. Seeing young performers embrace these life lessons and bring the story to life exceeded every expectation.

A heartfelt thank you to Director Scott Patteson, the talented cast and crew, the Livingston High School Theatre Department, our supporters, families, and everyone who attended and shared in this special evening.

Special thanks to Tamerlaine Animal Sanctuary & Preserve for their unwavering support and for the important work they do providing a safe haven for rescued animals. Little Billy is proud to serve as an ambassador for this remarkable sanctuary, and a portion of the book’s mission continues to support their efforts.

Dreams really do grow from small seeds… and sometimes they grow into a Magic Tree. 🌳

Thank you to everyone who helped turn a story into a movement.
