To ALL who made donations, of ANY kind- you know who you are- thank you. We brought a FULL truck load (back seat too) to Live Oak Baptist Church in Pointe Aux Chenes. Everyone was so thrilled and appreciative! Thank you! Pictures don’t show how much we had! Y’all are awesome!

Our family has owned a camp on this island for over 40 years. The Isle of Jean Charles as well as Pointe Aux Chenes has been devastated by Ida, in away none of our family has ever seen. This is a community that provides, Shrimp, Oyster, and crab.... all our awesome Louisiana Seafood. We are taking donations of ANY kind. They are very rural, and help is slow in getting to them. We will be going this coming Saturday (9/11) to bring a load of cleaning supplies. If you would like to donate any supplies, or anything, message me. Best wishes and prayers for your speedy recovery as well.

Some residents have already abandoned Louisiana's coastal sliver; others will soon follow
