Poor communication.

According to Gitnux’s 2023 report on active listening statistics and trends, poor communication is a major contributor to workplace complaints and conflict. It’s also one of the reasons I’m passionate about what I do.

I recently read the Inc. Magazine article Your Business Will Thank You! Take Advantage Now to Stay Ahead of Your Competitors — and it hit me: that’s why my best ideas always show up when I’m on vacation or out for a walk.
The neuroscience behind creativity and rest reminded me of The Big Bang Theory episode “The Einstein Approximation” — and of the work I do with clients on Growth Mindset and CliftonStrengths.

🌟 Wrapping Up a Powerful 6‑Week Journey with the Communion of Catholic Coaches

I facilitated a workshop I created called Stand Up, Stand Out: How to Become a Thought Leader in Your Niche over the past six weeks, and it has been an absolute joy.

This cohort of coaches showed up with courage, curiosity, and a deep desire to serve—and together we built something truly special.

From clarifying niches to crafting compelling stories… From exploring media strategies to brainstorming series ideas (yes, we got a little silly at times!)… Every session was fun, engaging, inspiring, and filled with the kind of energy that reminds me why I love this work.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside so many talented coaches from around the country, all committed to growing their voice, expanding their impact, and leading with faith and excellence.

And congratulations to everyone who earned International Coaching Federation (ICF) CCE credits through this experience—you showed up, you did the work, and you’re ready to stand up and stand out in your niche.
