I think this is so cool.
⚠️Warning. Hopefully this is as educational to you as it is to me.
I have always been fascinated with organs and what lyes beneath an animal's hide. When I got the chance to see this goat head and the brain inside, I was like cool,
-what part of the brain does what
-the brain is such a soft organ, very squishy
- look at how the skull is thick but open in these areas. You would not think these cavities are there.
- look at how the brain connects to the spinal cord at the base of the skull. Sits right in.
- look at how the eye balls fit into the socket. The eyes are the thin and squishy balls that allow a goat to see.
Anatomy and physiology is so neat. Just think the amount of thought and detail the Lord put into creating this skull that protects this brain and spinal cord. Then the brain, I mean, while it looks like a squishy ball, its full of neurons, compartments, and synapses that do amazing things.
While this is a neat opportunity to educate myself and learn, it also becomes a treat for the dogs.
When you purchase a goat from us, you have the option of keeping the head and organs from the goat your purchase.
No waste when it comes to using the goat. We use the whole goat.
Happy learning what a goat head and brain look like. See comments for labels photos.
