Due to the icy conditions we won't be running trucks this morning. As the roads get better we might go out to start our routes. Thursday customers please keep your trash out if we don't get to it today we will be by Friday for it. Friday customers please put out trash as normal. Stay safe everyone.

Due to the icy road conditions we've had this morning it has delayed our routes.
If you're a Monday customer and your trash has not been picked up yet please bear with us we will be there at some point in the next day.

Season's greetings from the entire team at Big Mountain Disposal. Our holiday schedule for the next two weeks is as follows: Wednesday customers for December 25th and January 1st will have their trash collected on Thursday. Normal collection schedules will resume after the holiday. Thank you for your business and for making us a success.

Well tough day at the office.
Today we had a truck fire . Our Employees noticed smoke coming from the back of the packer.
With quick thinking on Greg's part he immediately pulled the truck over and emptoed the truck on the side of the road.
Evan immediately called 911 .
The fire was started by something someone had thrown out.

I would like to thank the State Police PennDOT The lock haven fire department as well as the Castania fire department for their quick response and their help.
Fortunately no one was hurt and the truck was not damaged at all.
