A new month means another delicious lineup of w**es to discover at Jeremy W**e Co.! From crisp, refreshing whites to rich, bold reds, we've got something for every palate this October. 🍇

🥂 2025 Grüner Veltliner
Bright and refreshing with notes of lime, pear, white grapefruit, and a touch of white pepper. Crisp green apple and citrus lead to a clean, mineral finish.

🌸 2025 Budbreak White Blend
A beautiful blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, and Grüner Veltliner. Floral aromas of honeysuckle and jasmine meet juicy peach, lychee, and ripe pear, finishing soft and creamy.

🍷 Jeremiah's Jug #53
Our latest red blend brings together Sangiovese, Grenache, and Zinfandel! Bursting with raspberry, ripe cherry, and violet aromas, followed by juicy red fruit, cranberry, and warm spice.

🍇 2022 Malbec
Rich notes of blackberry, violet, and warm vanilla lead into flavors of berry compote, toasted caramel, and a smooth, velvety finish.

❤️ 2022 Aglianico
Bold and beautifully structured, featuring black cherry, dried cranberry, and leather on the nose, with white pepper, nutmeg, and rich berry pie on the palate.

🍷 2024 Old Vine Zinfandel, Block 4
A rich, full-bodied Zin with aromas of blackberry, ripe cherry, and warm baking spices. Dark fruit, spice, and vanilla round out a plush, lingering finish.

This week we are heading into the rolling hills of Lodi’s Clements Hills for a w**e that really captures what Jeremy loves about w**emaking: constantly learning, exploring, and discovering how a new varietal can express itself in a particular vineyard. 🍇🌿

Our 2022 Nero d’Avola comes from a small hilltop vineyard in the Clements Hills Sub Appellation, just beyond our Lockeford w**ery near the Mokelumne River. The vineyard itself is part of a larger planting that includes about six different Italian varietals. 🇮🇹🍷
⠀
Here, alluvial soils deposited over the years sit above a deep base of cobblestone. It is tough, unforgiving soil, but that is exactly what helps restrain the natural vigor of the vines and concentrate the fruit. 🌱🪨

The result is fruit that Jeremy describes as punchy right off the vine. 🍇✨
⠀
As harvest approaches, there is a moment when the grapes shift from bright, snappy acidity to softer, plush, almost candy like fruit.
⠀
In 2022, everything lined up beautifully. 🙌 The fruit reached ideal ripeness before the heat wave arrived, giving us the opportunity to bring it into the w**ery at exactly the right time. 🍷☀️

Following a clean fermentation, the w**e was moved to oak for extended aging, building additional depth and warmth while still allowing the natural personality of Nero d’Avola to remain front and center. 🛢️❤️

And in the glass? This one has layers. 👀🍷

🫐 Blueberry jam and currant
🍫 Cocoa and dark chocolate
🌿 A subtle touch of earthy peat
✨ Spice and vibrant fruit across the palate
🍷 Velvety tannins carrying into a long, graceful finish

This is one of those w**es where the vineyard, vintage, fruit, fermentation, and timing all came together just right. ✨

❤️ JOY is rich, smooth and layered, with a blend of 48% Merlot, 37% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s full on the palate, silky in texture and packed with beautiful fruit from start to finish.

🤍 Jingle brings a completely different expression, with 89% Chardonnay and 11% Viognier creating a broad, velvety texture with layers of tropical fruit, stone fruit, soft floral notes and a touch of custard on the nose.

And this year, the bottles got a holiday upgrade too. ✨ The designs are screenprinted directly onto the glass, giving JOY® & Jingle an extra layer of sparkle that makes them perfect for gifting, entertaining or setting out on the holiday table. 🎁🎄

🍇 Harvest Hustle! 💪

Harvest is officially wrapped — all the grapes are in! 🍇✅ Now we’re in the orchestration stage, where every move in the cellar has to line up just right. Kevin’s steaming barrels, Sean’s racking tanks, and fermenting bins are waiting their turn to be pressed.

Every step relies on the one before it — barrels prepped, tanks emptied, w**e moving — a carefully choreographed hustle that keeps the vintage flowing. 🍷 Cheers to the hardworking, tireless crew making it all happen! 🙌
