class in 2 days. first we take the pix, then we do the decal, it gets fired, then we embellish! and that gets fired. and voila... there you are.. immortalized in glass
and for extra measure, we can do a color blocked "Picasso-esque" version on the 2 days too.

Thought I should add this here since I put it up on several glass boards...
floral sink with underlit back splash. 25Lbs of glass, 3/4 inch thick .
Clients partcipated in the creation of the pieces in an intensive design/creation class setting.. 20X6 X 3/4"(maybe 1") & between 20-25 lbs

There is much dimension in the flowers due to the color layering process. The pictures don't catch it.
We did several color layers and a final layer that was fired at a lower temp for a slight relief/profile. There are controlled bubbles & bubbles that had to be squeezed out. each firing was annealed. the master blank was formed in a fiber ring, then a perfect 20" circle was cut. There was a slow drop to shape it, then drilled & countersunk for the drain. Client created the base & did the instal.

OK peeps, Spring mini glass classes. PM me if you want more info. We sold 2 gift certificates for them this week and the certificates are good for classes, glassware, design tile, etc & are good for the yr, (no expiration date really, but a yr to use them is best)
