Every profile extrusion engineer told us it couldn’t be done.

It took 5–10 years to figure out. But at RubberForm, “can’t” isn’t in our vocabulary.

Bill shares how customer conversations drive our innovation, and how investing in breakthrough extrusion technology allows us to create products competitors said were impossible.

From niche safety solutions to new ramp technologies, innovation at RubberForm starts with listening, and ends with ex*****on.

If you have an idea that makes job sites, parking lots, or cities safer, we’d love to hear it.

Not all pipe ramps are built for the same job.

The 2” Pipe & Hose Ramp accommodates 1”–2.5” hose or pipe and is ideal for sidewalks, job sites, industrial facilities, and plant entrances or exits.

The 4” Pipe & Hose Ramp accommodates 1”–4.5” hose or pipe and is designed for larger infrastructure projects, especially when crossing busy public roads to access water lines during restoration projects.

Choosing the correct ramp ensures safe vehicle transitions, protects lay-flat hose, and prevents premature wear or damage throughout the lifespan of your project!

Ever wonder what happens when rainwater runs over a rubber speed bump, curb, or ramp?

That’s where leach testing comes in. Leach testing simulates months, even years, of rain exposure by running water over a product in a controlled lab environment. The runoff is then analyzed to determine what chemicals, if any, are released into the environment.

Why does that matter? Because certain imported rubber products have been found to release concerning byproducts over time, including chemicals that exceed EPA limits.

We conducted independent lab testing to ensure our materials meet strict environmental standards.

When it comes to public roads, parking lots, and municipal infrastructure, long-term environmental safety matters.

Recycled should be sustainable. And safe.

Concrete curbs crack. They’re expensive to replace. And once they’re installed, they’re permanent.

Our Engineered Traffic Curb is different.

✅ 6” high x 6” wide
✅ Manufactured from recycled plastic
✅ Modular 3-foot sections
✅ Designed for lane hardening & municipal traffic calming

It replicates the strength and structure of concrete, but with the flexibility of modular replacement.

If one section is damaged? Replace one section. Not the entire curb.

Twenty years ago, Bill founded RubberForm.

Today, he often refers to himself as our Chief Listening Officer because of the number of phone calls, emails, and conversations he has with customers every single week.

Many of the products we manufacture today didn’t start in a boardroom. They started with a question: "Can you make something that solves this problem?"

When someone brings us an idea, we don’t just build it. We vet it, research it, and determine whether it truly improves safety, risk mitigation, and long-term performance in the field.

From investing years into profile extrusion technology to developing niche products competitors said couldn’t be done, innovation at RubberForm always starts the same way, by listening.

If you have an idea that makes job sites, cities, or facilities safer, let’s talk.

Public roads and driveways demand safer transitions, especially when pipe and hose protection is involved.

That’s why we’re introducing our next-generation 2-inch Pipe & Hose Ramp, redesigned after listening to customer feedback. Our previous model worked well, but contractors told us it was too steep for lower-profile vehicles crossing public streets.

So we re-engineered it.

By lowering the approach angle on both sides while still accommodating 2” to 2.5” pipe and hose, this ramp allows public vehicles to transition safely without compromising durability or protection.

Built for safety. Designed from real-world feedback. If your job site needs reliable pipe and hose protection, give us a call!

Not all recycled materials are created equal.

That’s why we’re discuss a serious industry issue: toxic chemicals found in some imported rubber products.

After noticing strong odors in competitor materials, we sent products to independent labs for testing, including leach testing to simulate rainwater runoff over time. The results were concerning.

Some products contained chemicals above EPA thresholds, including known carcinogens. That’s why RubberForm manufactures exclusively using domestically sourced recycled materials, tested for low VOC and environmental safety.

Some projects require flexibility.

Our Engineered Rubber Curb is manufactured from recycled rubber and designed for municipal traffic calming projects like:

✅ Roundabouts
✅ Chicanes
✅ Bump-outs
✅ Lane hardening

At 5” high x 6” wide and sold in modular 3-foot sections, this curb provides durability with slight flexibility, ideal for evolving traffic layouts.

What do some of the world’s most recognizable brands have in common? 🤔

They all trust RubberForm to protect their parking lots, facilities, and customers.

Retailers, restaurants, manufacturers, and municipalities across the country rely on RubberForm products, from traffic calming and signage to curbs and wheel stops, because they’re built tough, easy to maintain, and made in the USA. 🇺🇸

When safety, compliance, and durability matter, leading organizations choose RubberForm!

Proven products. Trusted nationwide. Built in America.

Customers often ask what sets RubberForm speed bumps and speed cushions apart, and the details matter! 💯

Our speed cushions use retro-reflective thermoplastic arrows that are applied after manufacturing, making them highly visible and fully maintainable for years.

Another key advantage is weight. RubberForm traffic calming products are engineered to be about half the weight of many competing products, allowing them to be easily removed during winter snowplow season and quickly re-installed in the spring.

That flexibility makes them ideal for municipalities looking for durable, seasonal traffic-calming solutions without permanent road alterations.

Smarter design. Easier maintenance. Made in the USA. 🇺🇸

When customers tell us what they need, we invest in the engineering, tooling, and equipment to make it happen, from new drive-over berms and T-berms to future products coming off our latest extrusion line.

This customer-driven approach allows us to solve real-world problems and continuously expand our lineup with durable, American-made safety solutions 🇺🇸
