WOW!! What a weekend! Collinsville, Ok was ELECTRIC both nights! I had a blast on the microphone all weekend long. If you weren’t there you truly missed out! It was a packed house both nights with outstanding contestants and great entertainment. I had the opportunity to share this mic for the second consecutive year with Cory Dodge. It’s rarely heard of to get to work with a Top notch barrel man such as Dustin Jenkins at an open rodeo but he made it a breeze! One Armed Bandit &Company Amanda Payne you folks absolutely rocked the house! Taylor Goodman Queen for Colllinsville Roping and Riding club approaches me with “Hey Derrick we need a picture with you and Cory” I just chuckled and said okay give me a bit! And last but not least Ryder Gann and the 10 piece band with Outlaw Tack was slingin the leather like it was hotcakes!

Bill Lankford and his crew have done an incredible job putting Collinsville Rodeo on the map bringing in the best of personnel and entertainment! See ya there!!

I’ve told it time and time again how much I enjoy the kids events. Primarily the Archery in the schools program. It’s something I can relate to so well! Brad Cowan and Ladney Keener have stood true to making me apart of there annual event to help raise money to help with expenses for students as they go to the NATIONAL tournament. A place where 15,000 archers the BEST in the nation gather to see who can take home the gold!

I covered a lot of real estate there to get my point across here. This young man standing here has qualified his way to Myrtle Beach, SC to shoot in the WORLD shoot. The best in the world will gather to find out who’s the most dangerous with a bow.

Let’s GATHER and help Rhett get to South Carolina. May 24,2025 Locust Grove Masonic Lodge Noon-? FISH FRY. $10 a plate donations welcome! See ya there! More details to come!
