As most of you know myself and my wife Jamie are from Mitchell County where the storms ripped thru that place like many others. We have located most of our people but the death toll is rising fast. We have decided thru satellite phone calls that we have to help. We are going to take donations to this town where we was raised. Everyone needs help but the smaller communities is later on the list. We are taking a convoy of trailers food and gas.
This picture is this afternoon of them still gathering and worshiping our God! Many have lost lives but the ones who made supplies are wearing thin.
We are setting up tomorrow where we can hopefully accept Venmo or checks. With that being said I guarantee 💯 of the donations will be put in the community of Green Mountain NC and surrounding communities while supplies last. No ones donation will be pocketed I personally promise that.
THESE PEOPLE NEEDS HELP! We will have a list of things that is needed coming within hours, satellite phones only are so clear. Example as of today, a lady asked for us to bring a bag of puppy food because she has a brand new puppy and a half of bag of food left. Can potatoes is a hot item, this is all examples, on paper towels and toilet paper I have a guy who is letting me have 30 roll cases for cost. We will take any can food. I will have enclosed trailers at different locations, my shop in Midland, KEYS gun shop in Locust, and BRS in Richfield. Thank the good Lord for these people for allowing this. If you have a place and want to take donations please let me know and we will make it happen.
Our plan
Pull in the community where Tipton Hill school was with our convoy and distribute. Have side by sides there to distribute to the ones that can’t get out, an automobile is impassible there as of now. We are going to try and get every family what they need or until supplies last. They are talking at least 2 months minimum before power is restored.
If anyone wants to be part of the convoy to help deliver you can get a hold of me or Jamie Barnett Street we would love to have you. There is more small mountain towns that needs us right now and we are trying to do our part. Like I say it’s our families, my mom and dad was raised there and all of my wife’s family is there so this hits home hard, maybe it’s Gods way to tell us help the fellow man so we are going to try and do it!
Thank you and God bless you all
