Hart’s Greenhouse veggie season is officially ON in Loda! 🍅🫑🥒🍆

All vegetables are out and ready to go, and let’s just say… we may have gotten a little carried away in the tomato department. We have 56 varieties of tomatoes, including heirlooms, cherries, and grapes. Yes, 56. At this point, it’s less of a tomato section and more of a tomato obsession.🍅

We’ve also got sweet peppers, hot peppers, and 22 different varieties of hot peppers for those of you who like to garden with a little danger. 🌶️ If you know, you know.

And herbs? Absolutely. Including 14 different types of basil, because apparently one basil simply wasn’t enough for us. 🌿

Also, we already sold out of the first perennial of the season, so consider this your friendly greenhouse warning: the good stuff does not sit around waiting for you to “think about it.” 😉

And don’t forget: Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 10! Your mom called and said she would love flowers. She also said she’s not mad, just disappointed you haven’t stopped by yet. Gift certificates work well, too💕😉

Spring is finally here, and opening weekend has arrived at Hart’s Greenhouse in Loda! 🌱🌸

We’re open and ready for the season with some of our early favorites, including seed potatoes, onion sets, pansies, and a trusted favorite, gift certificates.

The sunshine may have you thinking it’s time to plant everything, but don’t let those warm daytime temps fool you — it’s the nighttime temperatures that really matter this time of year. A little patience now can save your plants later.

Happy Spring Equinox! As we approach opening day (April 1), we just wanted to show off a few stars in the greenhouse. It’s still a bit early for most annuals, so we will keep them nice and warm for you until they’re ready. Happy Spring!
