***Three ways to spend the holidays with seniors***

The holidays are a wonderful time of year. Together with friends, coworkers, and neighbors, the entire extended family usually gathers to express gratitude.

The holidays can also be stressful with all the preparations, which makes it logistically difficult to include older family members or family members who are in supervised care facilities in the holiday celebrations.

Here's how you can include them in the celebrations:

1. Consider changing mealtime to earlier in the day so they can all participate.

2. Bring them home together and do fun activities such as cooking together.

3. Make them meet other family members. Conversations with other people can stimulate the mind.
