6 things you might not know about sparkling wine:

1 - COOL & CHILL
Very cool, super chill: Sparkling wine is typically served chilled, because the cold temperature helps preserve the bubbles & enhances the refreshing quality. Store your sparkling in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to preserve its quality.

2 - GRAPES
Oh, that’s how it’s made: Sparkling wine is made from a variety of grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, among others.

3 - FOOD
Order up! Sparkling wine makes a delicious pairing for a wide range of foods, including oysters, caviar, cheese, sushi, and desserts.

4 - PRESSURE
Not a Queen/David Bowie song: The pressure inside a bottle of sparkling wine is pretty high - so high that the cork can pop out at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour!

5 - SWEET VS. DRY
Both ends of the spectrum: The sweetness levels of sparkling wine can vary from bone-dry (brut nature or brut zero) to very sweet (doux).
The term "brut" is commonly used to describe dry sparkling wines, while "extra brut" indicates an even drier style.
