As I reflect on this quote, I think of the many prayers offered by parents for their children, caregivers for their loved ones, and families seeking guidance during difficult times. Every sincere prayer matters. Heaven is never deaf to the cries.

It reminds us that when trials come—whether personal struggles, sickness, family concerns, financial burdens, or world conflicts—faithful people turn to God in prayer. Rather than giving up, they reach upward. Their prayers rise to heaven like a mighty flood, showing their trust that God hears and answers.

For many of us, peace does not come because our problems disappear immediately. Peace comes because we know we are not facing them alone. Prayer invites the Savior’s comfort into our hearts, strengthens our faith, and helps us feel God’s love even in the midst of uncertainty.

Faith Through Tithing and Fast Offerings

Throughout our married life, Bill and I have tried our best to be full tithe payers, no matter our circumstances. There were times when finances were tight and challenges seemed overwhelming, but we chose to trust the Lord’s promises.

We also learned the joy of giving fast offerings. While tithing is a commandment, fast offerings give us the opportunity to extend the Savior’s love to those who may be struggling. It reminds us that we are all children of God and that we have a responsibility to care for one another.

Looking back, we can honestly say that the Lord has blessed us in ways far beyond money. He has provided peace during difficult times, strength when burdens felt heavy, and comfort when we needed it most. We have witnessed His hand guiding our family again and again.

I have come to believe that when we willingly give to the Lord and help those in need, our hearts become more like His. The blessings may not always come in the way we expect, but they always come in the way we need.

Faith grows when we put God first. Compassion grows when we remember His children. And blessings follow both.

✨ “Tithing is a declaration that God comes first. It is not measured by the amount we give, but by the faith with which we give it.” ✨

Tithing is one of those principles that often requires faith before we see the blessings, yet time and again the Lord proves that His promises are sure. As we faithfully keep His commandments, our testimonies grow, our hearts become more grateful, and we learn to trust Him more completely.

🙏 When we honor the Lord with our substance, He honors us with His blessings.

I have learned that paying tithing is not a loss—it’s an investment in faith. Every time we choose obedience, we invite heaven’s blessings into our lives. God keeps His promises. ❤️🙏

"Showing up was already a plus." So many elderly parents don't need expensive presents. They simply want to know they are remembered, loved, and not forgotten.

I'm happy Bill had that visit today, and I'm happy we both had the chance to enjoy it too. The fresh eggs were a wonderful bonus—but the real gift was their presence. ❤️🌷🙏

Today was a good day. ❤️

Bill's son and daughter-in-law stopped by for a visit. It wasn't a long visit because they had other things to attend to, but their presence meant a lot.

As parents grow older, they may not need grand gifts or lengthy visits. Sometimes, a simple "hello," a warm hug, or a few minutes spent together can brighten their entire day.

They also brought us a dozen fresh eggs from their poultry. Such a simple gift, yet it carried thoughtfulness, kindness, and love.

Moments like these remind me that family isn't measured by how long we stay, but by showing up, caring, and making time for one another.

Today, my heart is grateful for family, for simple blessings, and for the love that keeps us connected.

❤️ Family presence is one of life's greatest gifts.
