“Jael, I’m good at what I do. I’ve spent years building my career. But what if I try an online business and I’m just not good at it?” 🥹

Listen, I can understand that question.

As a registered nurse, I’ve spent years learning, gaining experience and developing confidence in my profession.

But here’s the thing…

Being good at nursing didn’t automatically mean I knew how to build a business.

I had new things to learn and I had to give myself permission to be a beginner again.

And sometimes, that’s the hardest part for us professionals. We’re so used to knowing what we’re doing that starting something unfamiliar can feel uncomfortable.

But being a beginner doesn’t mean you’re incapable. It means you have something new to learn.

The same way we develop skills through education, practice, feedback and experience, we can approach other areas of life with that same willingness to learn.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. You do need to be open to learning and applying what you learn and always remember, you will have support from someone who felt the same way you did and overcame it.

So, my question to you is, ‘Are you ready for a new plan B?’
