Interest rate hikes make no sense as it only increases inflation on the general public and payments to large investors in savings, treasuries, etc. Raising interest rate has never benefited the general public from inflation. The oil and gas companies rise in prices is the major cause of inflation and raising interest rates appears to be working with big oil to deplete the economy resoures and reduce the general public to cattle.
