New aquatic cuties are here — Pink Pumpkin Nerite Snails! 🐌
These little algae grazers are a fun addition for established freshwater aquariums, especially for keepers looking for something a bit different from the usual Nerite varieties. Their warm pink-orange shell tones make them a super cute unique cleanup crew addition while still being peaceful and easy to keep in community setups.
Like other Nerite Snails, they do best in stable, established tanks with good water quality and plenty of calcium content to support healthy shell growth. They can help graze on diatom algae and biofilm, but they’ll still appreciate the occasional supplemental treat like algae wafers, blanched veggies, or other snail-safe foods when natural grazing is limited.
