NOW HIRING: Forestry Technician / Laborer (Part-Time, Contractual)

Thunder Ridge Timber & Land LLC is seeking a motivated, hard-working individual for a part-time, contractual Forestry Technician / Laborer position.

If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality work, and aren’t afraid of tough conditions, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:
• Herbicide treatment using backpack sprayers and mist blowers
• Identifying target invasive species and desirable native species
• Chainsaw, Brush cutter, ATV operation
• Working in forested environments, overgrown fields, and remote/wilderness areas
• Following all safety protocols at all times

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs continuously
• Capable of performing strenuous physical labor daily
• Able to work in extreme weather and land conditions (heat, cold, rain, steep, rocky, slippery, etc.)

Qualifications:
• Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
• Safety-minded at all times
• Able to take direction well and work as part of a team
• Knowledge of invasive species, native species, and tree identification is a major plus
• Experience with forestry tools and equipment preferred (willing to train the right person)

All equipment and PPE are provided.

Contract Period: Approx. April–October
