Laurel Young Professionals (LYP) is a Chamber initiative serving those young in age and young in career. LYP is a group of young professionals under the common goal of creating an organization that provides emphasis on personal, civic and professional development for local professionals between the ages of 21-40 in the London- Laurel County Area. LYP provides a place for young professionals in Lau

rel County to come together and build trust and rapport among their peers and participate in community-based events. We know we are only as strong as our professional network, and only as successful as the community in which we live and work. Through networking, professional development, and philanthropy, LYP’s goal is to work to promote the next generation of leaders and improve the quality of life in Laurel County. Our mission as the Laurel Young Professionals is to be dedicated to our members' professional & personal development increasing intellectual, financial, emotional, physical, and well-being through networking and community. We hold networking events quarterly at different local event spaces to grow our network and expand our knowledge through our guest speakers. We host after hour events to unwind and mingle with our peers as well as network with other surrounding Young Professional Associations throughout the year. There are opportunities to get involved in collective community projects and charity work. SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS
LYP strives to find top-notch presenters and keynote speakers for our Events. Helpful training through seminars and workshops has always been an emphasis of our Chamber, and we will strive to determine what our members need most and continuously improve on meeting these needs. LYP is a part of the London-Laurel Chamber of Commerce so not only will your audience for these features have the support of the LYP, but in addition the chamber board and chamber members so more exposure! These statistics speak highly of the opportunity that exists here within our city and county. The Chamber has a number of programs and functions throughout the year that afford members the opportunity to meet other business professionals in the London/Laurel County area. They want to do business with you as much as you want to do business with them! These are typically the “Who’s Who” of businesses locally and we strongly encourage you to get out and meet other Chamber members; we see very positive results coming out of these networking opportunities every day.

🌟 Networking Opportunity 🌟

We want to share an exciting event that our friends from Laurel Young Professionals will be hosting over in Laurel County very soon! 🎉 It looks like a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, build connections, and support our local community. 🤝

Just to be clear, this isn't a YPLC event and we are not affiliated with it. It’s all organized by our friends with Laurel Young Professionals! However, if you can attend, let's show our support and make this a great networking opportunity! 🌐✨
