🎓 It's graduation season.
Caps and gowns. Ceremonies. Families cheering. New graduates ready to take on the world.
I love this time of year. But my graduation story looks a little different.
I didn't walk across that stage in my twenties.
I walked across it after years of already being in the room, contributing and leading teams, building culture, and solving complex challenges without a degree to show for it.
I wanted to start coaching to help others grow. But I knew the work would carry more weight, for my clients and for myself, if I was willing to do the hard thing too.
You can't champion development in others without living it yourself.
So I went back to school and earned a Bachelor's and a Master's in Organizational Leadership.
To every traditional graduate crossing the stage this season, congratulations. Your dedication is real and your moment is earned. 🎉
And to everyone else, the ones who took the longer road, the non-linear path, the one that didn't come with a ceremony the first time around...
Your growth counts too. 💛
It's never too late to limit less and be limitless.
If you're ready to take your next step, as an individual or as an organization, I'd love to be part of that journey.
