Just completed an epic weekend at Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium in the heart of Queens NY.

…and all I wanted to do was do is create this funny comic you see in this post.

I learned from the expert herself Rebecca Holman how to create this with AI.

I created a course with Rebecca because RIGHT NOW - Storybooks, Graphic Novels, and Comics are easier to create than ever with the help of AI.

This is a multi-billion dollar industry and anyone who is creative can easily do this. (and YES, you can be creative with AI)

About the art:

The NY Open is literally my favorite pickleball tournament of the year.

I always learn something from big tournaments and this year is no different.

For me, it’s the practice of patience, compassion, laughter, connecting, strategizing, relaxing, and just plain enjoying.

I mean, think about it - we are all just a bunch of skeletons walking around. How funny is that?!?!

Today we’re talking about becoming an expert in something. πŸ‘©β€πŸ« I’ll be giving you tips and advice on how to go about this and guide you along the path to becoming an expert.
-
First, you want to learn something of value πŸ’°. Obviously, you want to learn something that people will pay money for. A few years ago, I love dogs πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί and one of the things that I started looking into, I'm like, "Oh, maybe I'll be a dog groomer." People pay for that all the time and I actually looked into what kind of school 🏫 do I have to go into? πŸ€” What will my income look like? Things like that. Is it something that people pay money for? It sure is. Just think about it. Do you want to put it into practice? Whatever expert status you're looking for, you don't just want to learn it. You want to put it into practice, use it, test it, play with it, build it, whatever it is you need to do to get that hands-on experience πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ. Because if you're just learning something, you aren’t an expert. You can watch tutorials all day on how to groom a golden retriever, but if you’re not actually grooming a golden retriever, you’re not becoming an expert in that.
-
In order to make money online πŸ’»πŸ’°, you need to do some kind of documentation, whether it's a book that you're writing, whether it's a video that you're doing, like I am right now, whether it's a blog post, whether it's a Facebook live, whether it's a YouTube video, which is really, really popular. Get started today and become and expert in something! 🀩

I'm going to give you three steps that you need to take to start your internet show. ☝️ Number ONE is you need to choose your thing. What is YOUR thing? Do you like to write ✍️? Do you like to speak πŸ—£οΈ? Do you like video πŸ“½οΈ? What do you feel more comfortable doing or what do you want to feel comfortable doing? Because not everything we're going to jump into and be like, "Yep, we're ready." For example, I wanted to be good with video, but there was a time when I was really not good. I had to get comfortable looking into the camera, staring at that record light and knowing what to say. πŸ‘©β€πŸ« I had to be prepared by putting together a nice, concise presentation or training so that people could watch it and learn.
-
✌️ Step number TWO is you want to commit to a time and a place. πŸ•™ Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM, every Friday at 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM. I do mine on Fridays. I change the time sometimes, but EVERY FRIDAY I've been doing these live sessions. I post it to different places, but the point is that you want to commit to a time and a place or a day and a place. ♻️ So this could be ongoing forever until you decide to stop. This could be a set period of time, like 30 days, every day, every other day, whatever it is. You want to get people used to your schedule, get people to look forward to your show, and you want people who are almost addicted to you 🀩. So for instance, there are certain podcasts that people love, certain Netflix shows that people love. They can't wait till they come out or they get depressed when it's over, right?
-
πŸ‘Œ Step number THREE is you need to take action 🎬. You need to pick the medium, pick a time, day, and then DO IT. Figure out your topic and get the ball rolling. Once you start creating your show and putting it out there, you will learn many things about how to improve it.

πŸ’½ People still buy information on CDs! For me, I don't even have a CD player anymore. I don't have anything that plays a CD. Everything is digital, but that's me. Some people still like to get that tangible thing in the mail that you can actually take out, touch, and hold it in your hand πŸ’Ύ

When it comes to selling on Amazon, you must know every intricate detail on what to name your product βœ”οΈ, the strategy behind it βœ”οΈ, the strategy behind getting positive reviews βœ”οΈ, and the strategy to having happy customers βœ”οΈ.
-
The idea of selling CDs πŸ’Ώ and physical products is really exciting and a β€œnew” concept, especially if you're used to having the digital version, not really having costs associated with selling your content. Because Kindle, you are paying Amazon when you sell books you're just not paying for it to be published. But at the end of the day, Amazon is getting its royalties πŸ’Έ. So while it might be a lower cost of entry to sell Kindles and digital products, you're still paying for that later on πŸ’°
-
πŸ€” What I forgot to mention with the digital versus physical is that on the physical side of Amazon there is so much more money to be spent. Think about it, what's the most amount of money that you've spent on a Kindle book? For me that answer is maybe like $14.99 and the lowest is zero because of Kindle Unlimited. With physical products, people are spending more. πŸ“š They're spending 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and upwards dollars on physical products πŸ€‘

In today's session, I'm going to share with you how I build journals in PowerPoint πŸ““. PowerPoint is one of my favorite tools to actually design not only journals, but different types of books and workbooks, printables. If you don't have PowerPoint, you can do everything you're going to see here in a Google Slides. Google Slides has really improved over the years πŸ“ˆ
-
I have about 81 templates, along with some really cool life-changing training. What I'm going to do is sift through and show you what some of these templates look like. They are examples of different templates that you can put in a journal πŸ““ or a planner, and they're quite easy to make and edit in PowerPoint. You can do different colors 🎨 and you can use PowerPoints templates that they have alongside the templates that I give. The main idea of these templates is to make your content interactive. ✍️ You want people to be able to write content on your pages. You want people to check things off, fill things out πŸ“, answer questions, and draw. That's the whole idea behind your content being interactive.
-
The thing that I like about journal creation is that it's not a lot of work πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ. So even if you mess up and you don't choose the best topic or you want to play around in a topic that you're not quite sure of, then it's okay because you're not really doing a lot of work. It's a numbers game πŸ‘©β€πŸ’». It’s just another journal that you have created underneath your passive income with content umbrella. If you publish nine journals and the 10th one is a home run πŸ€‘, there's your numbers right there, but I do want you to be thinking of things that you can do correct right from the start.

πŸ“ˆ The first brilliant marketing hack is what I call β€˜The Incomplete Hack’. You may have seen this before. They give 25% of the article and they say, "Subscribe here to see the rest." πŸ€” A lot of the times I'm not convinced enough to go ahead and do the complicated sign up process πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. I'm more annoyed because I have to stop reading and enter in my email. If you can give real value in that first 25%, then you usually get people who will actually go through and subscribe and then go through the whole process of putting in their email address. I absolutely love this strategy. πŸŽ₯ In particular, I love it for video because that trust factor happens instantly if you do it right.
-
This second brilliant marketing hack is what I call β€˜The Really Caring Hack’. You're not just immediately going to your audience and saying, "Hey, look what else I have." You're really trying to make a connection with them through a written environment ✍️. You need to offer them valuable information that they can use in their life today. This could be in the form of a 5 minute fitness tip πŸ‹οΈ or daily life routine. The content needs to be tailored to the specific individual. You need to think, β€œhow can I help this person, how can I really serve this person”? 🀝
-
πŸ“Š The third brilliant marketing hack is what I call β€˜The Celebrity Hack’ πŸ‘Έ. The celebrity hack is knowing your audience and having a sense of who they follow. Maybe it's an author, maybe it's a celebrity, maybe it is some kind of show on Netflix 🎞️, maybe it's a documentary they might be watching. So anything that you can do to get on a common ground, to find a relatable topic with your audience and using the leverage of some kind of media, some kind of celebrity that you can say, "Hey, have you read this book πŸ“š," or, "Have you watched this documentary," and incorporate that into your marketing somehow. Sometimes you can relate to someone a lot easier if you talk about something that's on common ground. Today, people are watching a lot of TV series and using them to get a connection with other people. This is something that one of my friends incorporates into their advertising, which I thought was really cool.
