⛽️ Fuel issues are one of the most common reasons boats end up in the shop—but many of them can be prevented.

In this week’s Maintenance Monday, Dalton explains how old or ethanol-blended fuel can break down when a boat sits for too long, clogging fuel filters and injectors and causing hard-starting or performance problems.

To help protect your Yamaha outboard:

⚓ Use non-ethanol marine fuel whenever possible
⚓ Add Yamaha Fuel Stabilizer before extended storage
⚓ Run your boat regularly
⚓ Avoid letting untreated fuel sit for long periods

August heat doesn’t mean the snook bite has to slow down. Captain TJ Stewart shares one of his go-to strategies for summer snook fishing in Southwest Florida: get out early, pay attention to a strong outgoing tide, and focus on passes, docks, and other structure where the current is moving.
