FIVE YEARS AGO, WE TOOK A LEAP 🚀
It’s funny how life works.
Alex Niefer and I had worked together for years, but after moving on to different roles in different parts of the country, we kept randomly running into each other. Once at 1:00 AM at a gas station, each of us returning from family vacations. Another time, just walking the streets of Boston. Every time, I’d hear his unmistakable, booming voice:
"Hey, Kev!" 😄
Fast forward to late 2019. We were both in jobs that looked good on paper but felt... depleting. One day in early 2020, we sat down to talk (over Bueno y Sano burritos 😋):
What if we built something of our own?
What if we used everything we knew to help good people doing good work—on our own terms?
What if we took the leap?
We had no roadmap. No guarantees. Just a deep belief that good people doing good work deserve great support.
So we did. And in early 2020, Prosper Nonprofit Advisors was born. On the eve of a global pandemic that shut the world down, as luck would have it!
But we persisted. We thrived. We continue to ascend. We continue to... well, Prosper!
Five years later, here's what that leap has turned into:

✅ Millions raised for missions that matter.
✅ Transformational board retreats, leadership coaching, and strategy sessions.
✅ A thriving business, a growing team, and an even stronger friendship.
✅ A deeply fulfilling and rewarding career that is everything we imagined and more.
