Evolve Engineering and Software is looking to hire a CAD & CAM Programmer. We’re growing rapidly and are moving quickly to hire qualified candidates. Our ideal candidate is an open-minded team player; we have a fun company culture, and we’re looking for someone who will fit in well with the lively and pleasant atmosphere we’ve built here. Some skills that are essential to work here include: a good attitude, keeping an open mind about new ways to do things, eagerness to learn new skills, ease to work with, and willingness to help in other areas of the shop.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in part modeling with SolidWorks (3+ years), CAM programming (SolidCAM best, MasterCAM ok), and job scheduling. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Our hours are flexible as long as you’re here during core hours, 10am – 3pm.

You will:

- Showcase excellence in SolidWorks

- Program parts from prints or models using SolidCAM

- Issue parts to machine operators using run sheets

- Design parts when necessary

- Practice excellent written and verbal communication to ensure parts run smoothly

- Measure milled parts to ensure they’re being delivered as expected

- Observe machines running to ensure programmed rates are as expected

- Strive to produce extremely precise parts for our customers with minimal waste

Our pay structure is dependent on your experience level. More experienced = higher starting pay rate. Our pay range for this position is $20 - $35/hr. We are a growing engineering, software, and machining company, so experience in mechanical engineering, software engineering, etc is a plus and will be compensated thusly. When the shop is running well with minimal part waste, we offer quarterly bonuses as well.

Our work flow will likely be different from what you’re used to; our system works great for our company, and we think you’ll learn to enjoy it too. Evolve Engineering and Software is looking to hire a CNC Machinist. We’re growing rapidly and are moving quickly to hire qualified candidates. Our ideal candidate is an open-minded team player; we have a fun company culture, and we’re looking for someone who will fit in well with the lively and pleasant atmosphere we’ve built here. Some skills that are essential to work here include: a good attitude, keeping an open mind about new ways to do things, eagerness to learn new skills, ease to work with, and willingness to help in other areas of the shop.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working and learning in a machine shop (5+ years). The ideal candidate will come in to run machines while working under a senior machinist. This position involves working with Haas CNC mills, CNC lathes (Mazak/others), and other manual machines. Current experience running machines is essential. CNC Programming experience is not required; our machinists work off of run sheets delivered from our in-house CNC programmers.

You will:
- Become a craftsmen of highly precise parts from metal and plastics using our Haas CNC Mills, CNC lathes, and other tools
- Read and interpret machine run sheets issued by our CNC programmers
- Set up metal blanks in the machine precisely as directed by programmers
- Read technical drawings to retrieve dimensions for measurement and measure parts after machining to ensure they match drawing specifications
- Perform quality assurance in all aspects of machining metals and plastics
- Deburr and ready parts to be sent to washing and Final Inspection
- Strive to produce extremely precise parts for our customers every time
