Huge love to for being part of the EBCA Spring Studio Tour and helping bring more art, energy, and community into our little corner of Longmont. Be sure to stop by and see her space while you’re out exploring today 🌼

Local artist , who is also part of the EBCA Spring Studio Tour, is showing her art right here at the marketplace — so much talent under one roof.

SHOCK Art is also back at Old Town Marketplace ⚡️ Stop in and cast your ballot for up to 5 of your favorite designs. The selected artists will have the honor of recreating their work on city electrical boxes around Longmont — such a fun way to bring public art into everyday spaces. Voting is open through May 4th.

And while you’re wandering through, come say hi at The Golden Bee and check out our Artist of the Month, — a Denver mixed media artist whose joyful, vibrant work is currently brightening up the shop 💛

Everywhere you look, you’ll find creativity blooming. Prints, originals, and a strong sense of community are here ready to brighten your day.

Hats off to these three and everyone else who brought the Longmont Punk Rock Prom to life!! What an incredible night full of creativity, amazing people, and the kind of energy that reminds you community is alive and well.

⚠️ Looking for LOCAL Colorado resources / referrals ⚠️

A small business owner I know signed what appears to be a very questionable POS terminal / equipment lease agreement after believing they were working with a local provider connected to a major brand system.

Now it appears:
• Multiple companies are involved
• Contract, payment processing, and equipment lease may all be through different entities in different states
• Equipment was delivered but has NOT been opened, activated, or set up
• Owner wants to return equipment immediately and understand options to exit the agreement

We are looking for:
• Colorado small business attorneys familiar with merchant services / equipment leases
• Consumer protection or business fraud resources
• Anyone who has successfully fought predatory POS terminal contracts
• Local agencies that help small businesses review contracts

If you know a trustworthy person or resource, please message me privately or tag them below.

Too many small businesses get trapped in confusing contracts when they’re simply trying to operate.
