*Story time*
15 years ago I met this little girl, she was wild and spunky and very tuned into her inner responsible 30 year old self at the age of 4. She became quick friends with our girl Addie who is equally as spirited but in a different mischievous way. That said, 10 years ago this little girl started saving shirts from her most favorite memories, she dropped off two huge trash bags full of these shirts asking for a memory quilt. Of course I said yes, she’s one of my own at this point. As I pulled each shirt out, I found myself living a lot of the memories too. There are shirts in there that I was a part of. The twilight days that we were both team Edward cuz vampires are way better than werewolves, basketball teams I watched her play on, dance shirts I watched her wear in recitals, diabetes walks she partook in with us, the Shawn Mendes concert, the shirt she stole from Addie “fair and square”and wore it even though she never played field hockey. She took Addie on a vacation to Ireland and that shirt made it in here to. the trip to SC where she bought a tshirt in every spot we went to (all shirts accounted for here), even a piece of the Halloween costume I fought with her about, get this, cuz it was “stupid”, she won that battle and I sat down and made two costumes for her and her BFF to be babies that year, turns out, it wasn’t stupid. If you’ve read this far you’ll see below I’ve included pics that if you look close, you’ll see her wearing some of these memories that I’ve been honored to be a part of, I hope she loves her quilt as much as I enjoyed making these memories with her. She’s pretty special to our family, I can’t wait to continue our memory making for years to come, and knowing her , she’s already starting another bag of shirts for another decade of her life. Thanks for reading, if you’re in need of a special gift, I’m taking orders for Christmas 2023 NOW, don’t wait or you’ll miss out. Happy memory making to you all!
