🔥 LONGVIEW CONNECTIONS TAKEOVER… AND TAKE OVER WE DID! 🔥

When LC says we’re showing up to support local, THIS is what we mean.

Today, Longview Connections took over one of our favorite local eateries, Scotties-Bistro, and WOW did our members SHOW UP! ❤️

Just look at these pictures! Tables full, conversations happening, relationships being strengthened, lots of laughs, and our LC family doing exactly what we talk about every week:

Supporting one another. Supporting local. Supporting our community.

And believe it or not, these pictures don’t even show the full turnout! Several more LC members joined us after these were taken… and apparently somebody who shall remain nameless, Shawn Ingram, got so busy visiting and enjoying himself that he completely forgot to take updated pictures. 🤦‍♂️😂

So, to those of you who showed up but didn’t make the photographic evidence - WE SAW YOU, WE APPRECIATE YOU, AND YOU COUNT! 😂❤️

To every LC member who carved time out of their day to join us, THANK YOU! This is what Community Over Competition looks like when we put those words into action. You guys showed up, and you showed up BIG!

But today was about more than lunch.

We want to give a very special shoutout to Krupal & Poullomi Patel, who have poured an incredible amount of hard work, heart, and passion into Scotties Bistro and brought a truly unique culinary experience to Longview, Texas.

As they prepare for their next chapter, August 30th will be their final day at Scotties Bistro.

While we’re certainly going to miss what they’ve created, we want to focus on celebrating it, celebrating the food, the experience, the friendships, the memories, and two people who took a chance and brought something special to our community.

So, Longview… we have a little time left, and we know how to SHOW UP!

If you’ve loved Scotties Bistro, go back one more time.

If you’ve been saying you wanted to try it, NOW is the time.

Go have lunch. Bring some friends. Try something you’ve never had before. Tell Krupal and Pollo thank you. Show them some love and support, and enjoy some of the finest and most unique culinary offerings East Texas has to offer while you still can. ❤️

Today’s meeting was a huge success, with an incredible level of energy and engagement throughout the room!

We began with a fascinating presentation from Dr. Laurie Pearce on AO Scanning. We sincerely appreciate Dr. Pearce for sharing her expertise and introducing our members to something so interesting.

We also introduced several exciting enhancements to the Longview Connections experience:

📲 QR Check-In System: A streamlined process that makes member and guest check-in faster and easier.

🎤 30-Second Commercial System: Our new automated system randomly selects members and displays their name and company logo on the big screen while they give their commercial. It also displays the next member “On Deck,” along with their name and logo, keeping everything moving smoothly.

🎁 Swag Gift Draw System: Another new feature that makes our giveaways easier, more interactive, and a lot more fun!

A HUGE shoutout to Mindy Lewellen, Cole Brasil, and the team at Starfish Ad Age for listening to our ideas and bringing this vision to life. From building our amazing www.LongviewConnections.com to developing these new systems, you guys continue to knock it out of the park!

And thank you to John Silos, who not only captured all these great photos from today’s meeting, but also does an incredible job managing and keeping our website updated.
