Unlicensed Security

It is against the law to hire or provide security except through a licensed and insured Private Security Company. Working security as a side gig and not with a licensed employer is a Class A criminal misdemeanor.

Anyone caught doing this will be turned into the state for prosecution.

Any event promoters or venues using illegal security will be reported to law enforcement.

At ION Security and Investigation we take illegal security seriously. It is a detriment to all legitimate companies and officers. It goes against all that we stand for and undermines the ability for legitimate officers to make a decent living. We will do everything possible to put a stop to it.
