Harvest season is underway in Placer County. 🍇

Across the Sierra Foothills, vineyards and wineries are moving through one of the most exciting times of the year. Grapes are coming off the vines, crush is happening throughout the region, and the 2026 vintage is beginning to take shape.

It’s a season built on timing, hard work, and a whole lot of anticipation—and one of our favorite times to be in Placer County wine country.

Happy Labor Day — and happy California Wine Month. 🍷🍇

Today, we’re raising a glass to the people behind every bottle.

While many of us enjoy a well-earned day off, vineyards across California are in one of their busiest seasons of the year. Harvest means early mornings, long days, careful timing, and plenty of hands at work bringing in the fruit that will become future vintages.

It feels especially fitting to celebrate Labor Day during California Wine Month—a reminder that every glass begins with the work done in the vineyard.

Secret Ravine is closed today for Labor Day. We’ll see you Thursday–Sunday, 12–5 PM.
