Meet Lucky, the derpy and most fluffy 9-month-old Bernedoodle! 🐾
•
Lucky recently graduated from service dog training where he learned twenty obedience, behavioral, and special task commands! 🙌
•
Our training started with the basics like Sit, Down, and Stay both at the side and away from us. But this training wasn’t just for Lucky, it was also for his mom Jordyn in teaching her how to handle Lucky and communicate with him using both hand and verbal commands. Our training ended with us visiting various public environments to hone in Lucky’s public access skills. He was very focused on Jordyn while visiting a local park, an outdoor mall, and finally the Metro Rail Line! 🚇

A great journey working with Jordyn, Jack, and Lucky! Lucky has come a long way since our first training session! Great job Jordyn and Lucky! 🎉

Good memories at Vandenberg AFB with Belgian Malinois Carlo (043P), a patrol and narcotics military working dog! He was a good boy and served on a lot of successful missions. 🐾❤️

Meet Georgina (AKA Georgie), the 8-week-old Micro Bernedoodle! 🐾
•
Yesterday was session two of Georgie’s five session puppy & house training package! Her parents set up her open pen (room) with a feeding and watering station, some busy toys to help with nipping, biting, and teething, and finally, attached a covered crate to the pen so she can sleep snug like a bug! Great job guys! 🙌
•
After we introduced her to her new room, bed, and potty area (outside in backyard), we got down to business and introduced her to the all important commands Sit, Leave It, and Come. These three commands are in my Top 5 commands for all dogs to know and Georgie was responsive to all of them! We also went over important nipping and biting strategies! 😣

A great day working with Kent, Cynthia, and Georgie! I’m already looking forward to our next session! Great job Georgie! 🎉

Meet Rolex, the 1.5-year-old and 100 lb. Staffordshire & German Shepherd mix! 🐾
•
Today wrapped up behavioral modification and obedience training for Rolex as he made it through all three training sessions! 🙌
•
Rolex spends his days hanging out with his Great Dane sister Muffin! He and Muffin moved into a new home two months ago near the water in Long Beach. The new environment caused Rolex to feel a bit anxious and reactive towards other dogs, so we worked with owners Sofia and Brennan in teaching them how to better handle and train Rolex so he could be more comfortable outside! By the end of the training session Rolex was much better around other dogs and learned a bevy of new commands🎉
•
A great day working with Sofia, Brennan, Rolex, and Muffin! I will miss him greeting me at the door with the happiest of dispositions and that wagging tail. Great job Rolex! 🍾

Meet Albie, the 5-year-old Poodle! 🐾
•
Today wrapped up behavioral modification training for Albie as he made it through all three training sessions! 🙌
•
Albie loves his mom Judy … so much he can be a bit too protective of her! Throughout our training sessions, we introduced Judy to creating safe environments for her guests as well as desensitizing Albie to her friends. He learned the Place and Leave It commands as well as a litany of loose leash walking commands to help Judy have more control of him outside the home. The Gentle Leader helped us tremendously here! 🎉

A great day working with Albie and Judy … I will miss our coffees in the backyard! Great job Albie! 🥳

Meet Tofu, the 4-month-old Maltipoo! 🐾
•
Today wrapped up puppy & house training for Tofu as he made it through all five training sessions! 🐾
•
This afternoon we worked on intermediate obedience using a 50’ leash, off leash recall, car training (so he’s safe when traveling mom Cecilia), and finally loose leash walking introducing him to the commands Heel and Break! 🙌
•
When 7 lb. Tofu is not being a good boy with his training, he’s looking for his next victims in a reprisal of Michael Myers from “Halloween.” Not really, but Tofu’s front yard/shrub was used in the movie, so a lot of onlookers stop by and get their pictures here! 🎃 🔪
•
A great day working with Tofu and Cecilia … I will miss working both of you! Great job Tofu! 🙌 🎉

Meet Maple , the 8-month-old Boston Terrier! 🐾
•
Maple joined the Koren family at the end of the summer where’s she enjoying life being the life of the family! 🐾
•
Maple’s mom Rachel gave me my sweet Boston Terrier (RIP Ozzie) who is the logo of the company, so when she called needing some dog training, I jumped in the car headed south to Carlsbad to help her and her family! 🙌
•
Great training all around by not only Maple, but her family as well as we went over a litany of training to help Maple get trained as a service dog! Will come down in a few months for follow up training! 🙏 🐶

Meet Billie, the 5-month-old Field Retriever! 🐾
•
Billie and The Beckers recently finished Puppy & House training with flying colors! With a recent training session in Special Task training, Billie was ready to reinforce all 17 commands she’d been introduced to!🎉
•
Today we worked at the bustling 3rd Street Promenade where it was a nice 80 degrees with a bevy of people out and about. We’d visit many stores, engage with the staff, order coffees, almost signed up for a REI lifetime membership, and moved all around the promenade! We even got to make it to the bluffs to see the Pacific Ocean! 🙌 🌊

A great day of reinforcement service dog training for Billie and Jen! Billie was a true professional today! 🙏 🐶

Meet Doug the Pug! Just kidding, I’ve always wanted to train a pug named Doug. Meet Cosmo, the 2-year-old Pug! 🐾
•
Cosmo was rescued by mom Sue just three months ago. He loves pulling Sue all throughout the neighborhood and has particular issues with Diego; a Chihuahua Terrier mix, that lives up the street (very reactive)! 🎉
•
Today was (final) session 3 in helping Cosmo pull less, behave nicely with neighbor Diego, and expand his obedience! We introduced the commands Down and Come along with introducing Cosmo to intermediate obedience. Cosmo was a rockstar today! He was practically sprinting to us in Come training and learned Down in just three trials! He’ll of course do anything for Zukes chicken treats (his face says it all)! 🙌
•
A very productive day of training for Cosmo and Sue! Great job Cosmo! 🙏 🐶
