More business hacks for Amazon sellers.

→ Use a rewards credit card to pay your Advertising invoice instead of charging your account balance
→ You'll accumulate reward points for something you're already doing
→ Use a new credit card to meet the introductory spending requirement, if needed

Also..
→ Overall, use your credit card early in your billing cycle to get maximum flexibility
→ 30 days (billing cycle) + 3 weeks (due date) = almost 2 months of cushion to pay it back

This frees up cash flow and keeps your business alive in tight situations.

Only use this method if you (1) already have an advertising budget and (2) are already generating income

Amazon sellers sometimes forget to step outside the golden cage and leverage other tools to grow their business and free up cash flow.

Here are a few quick business hacks as a reminder:

High Yield Savings Accounts
→ Most sellers park their cash at a 0% interest checking account, why not grow it while it sits?
→ Amex has a 3.3% HYSA that's free with no required minimums

Free Business Bank Accounts
→ Amex also offers a free Business Checking Account, plus, you earn reward points on transactions

If you prefer traditional banks:
→ US Bank offers free a Business Checking Account as well
→ BMO Bank offers free Business Banking if you keep a $100 monthly minimum (lowest in the industry)

Travel Debit Cards
→ Charles Schwab offers a free Checking Account with $0 foreign transaction fees & unlimited ATM fee rebates worldwide
→ Fidelity's Cash Management Account offers $0 foreign transaction fees & reimburses most ATM fees

Reward Credit Cards
→ The Amex Gold Card offers 4X Points (Highest in the industry) on all food-related purchases (Restaurants, supermarkets, take out, etc)
→ If you're constantly sponsoring dinners or already in the food business, this is an obvious choice

Shipping Supplies
→ Free direct business accounts with USPS, FedEx and UPS for discounted rates
→ You also get free boxes, bubble mailers, envelopes, tubes, etc. with free delivery

Running a business doesn't have to be (as) expensive. There are free and advantageous hacks everywhere.

More to come.

"I want to sell on Amazon, but it's too saturated and I don't know where to start.."

I hear this all the time.

Amazon only feels saturated when you sell what everyone else is selling.

T-shirts? coffee mugs? candles? sunglasses?

You're going for the "easiest" and cheapest products to start. Fair play, if this was still 2015..

Now everyone, from the stay-at-home-mom in Kansas to the mega manufacturing plant in Asia to Amazon Basics are competing in the same category.

So what's the secret to success? These 3 things:
↳ Shelf life
↳ Niches
↳ Intellectual Property

Rule 1: Make sure your product doesn't have an expiration date.
No dietary supplements, no beauty products, no food.

You don't need the added pressure of spoiled products, costly disposal orders, negative product reviews and account suspensions.

Rule 2: Think of micro-niches

→ Seat gap fillers for Tesla Model 3
→ Portable BBQ grill scraper keychain
→ Fireproof ammo storage bags

You get the point..

Rule 3: Protect your IP

→ Patents
→ Trademarks
→ Copyrights

Once your product listing starts showing success, you'll see competitors pop up left-and-right in a matter of a few weeks.

Resellers, replicas, rip-offs.

But if you patented your design or trademarked your name, you'll survive.

With IP enforcement, not even Amazon themselves can sell your product. You own your niche.

After you made it this far, congratulations.
You've passed phase 1 of the Amazon Hunger Games.

I’ll guide you through the next round.

Most Amazon sellers panic-bid.

You watch your impressions tank, your ads stop showing up and your BSR takes a hit.

You’re not being outbid — you’re being outperformed.

Your competitor didn’t suddenly raise their bids..

Amazon doesn’t simply reward the highest bidder. It rewards the best-performing listing.

→ How's your CTR and CVR?
→ Is your price competitive?
→ How's your stock level?
→ Is your SEO still relevant?

Amazon won’t prioritize listings that don’t convert, even if you’re bidding aggressively.

Why?

Because Amazon earns commission on every conversion — it’s in their best interest.

So give the Amazon system what it wants.

Before you raise bids and ego-spend, audit your listing.

Amazon Seller Tip 💡

If your product reviews aren’t sharing across a variation, here’s a simple fix.

Make sure the category, sub-category, browse node, item type keyword, and gl_product_type are identical across all child ASINs.

This gives you several benefits:

→ Increases total review count
→ Camouflages lower-reviewed child ASINs
→ Improves CTR and CVR
→ Makes your listing look more established

Bonus hack ⭐️
→ Enroll individual ASINs in Vine, then merge them into a single variation.

Super bonus hack ⭐️⭐️
→ Find duplicate ASINs created by resellers, merge them into your existing ASIN, and keep the reviews.

Finding loopholes is part of the Amazon game.

Play it smart.

Woke up today to my Amazon Seller Account being suspended due to ID re-verification --the INFORM Consumers Act, they say.

I've gone through this same process several times this year already, yet they always come back.

Get it together, Amazon.

It's the same me, every time.

No identity change, no identity crisis --just the same, handsome and majestic, me.

I'll be here for a while, keep note.

Successfully fixed the size name attribute on my Amazon Listing ✅

Here's How:

1) Create a Flat File with the correct size name (or other attributes)

2) Delete the listing

3) Upload the Flat File

4) Contact Seller Support once you have the Batch ID

5) Ask to speak to the Catalog or Feeds Team

6) Provide the ASIN and Batch ID

7) Reiterate that you are the Brand Owner and overwrite any Amazon Retail contributions

😎 Don't accept any other answer besides "Yes, we will fix the attribute" --this might take a few times

9) Done.

I keep seeing Amazon sellers complaining that their listings got shut down or gated..

They resell other brands with no Letter of Authorization from the owner.

Yet they’re surprised?

You sell your own brand on Amazon, we all know this. Common sense.

Why anyone would resell and build someone else’s brand on Amazon is beyond me.
