I know its kinda crazy right?! 

But if chaos feels like home, peace will feel boring at first 🙃

That’s not love; that’s your nervous system craving what’s familiar: lovers ghost & gaslight, friends gossip & pull you into mess, family guilt-trips & drains … and somehow you find yourself in these patterns over and over again

You’ve lived this way for a whole @$$ lifetime, meaning your nervous system learned to survive in emotional tsunami’s (instead of “safety”)

So now you easily  mistake adrenaline for chemistry, and control for care.

And cuz you’ve lived in survival mode long enough,you start calling dysfunction “normal.”

Because let’s be real; what else is there?!

And the few times you found yourself with healthy people, you bowed out outta “boredom”, but really, your brain couldn’t handle the peace

Every baddie wants a Soft Girl Era after being in busted love…
but D@MN!, unlearning survival mode & old patterns is hard as F&%$

You can’t live a peaceful life until you stop confusing chaos with love & friendship

And what I have learned from my own journey is that you can affirmation yourself to DEATH …but it still won’t guide you into the softness that you are craving if your nervous system is FRIED

You can’t attract peace… while still f*ckin’ with people who live for drama and treat you like their emotional punching bag
You can’t “divine feminine” your way into safety; if you’re still letting clowns stay in your life playing in ya face

Sis, softness isn’t a vibe; it’s a skill.
That’s why before softness… I’m talking about REAL AF softness…like brunching and traveling with your girlies who value you, working on yourself emotionally, spiritually and physically. Real nurturing…

Comes the exit.

You have to walk away from the sh*t that hardens you, cuz you think love = pain [and that all the trauma dumping with no reciprocal supportive energy is normal

From the relationships that keep you on edge, like double-checking your words before you say anything, because you never know what’ll set them off.From the patterns that make your body think love = danger, anxiety, and emotional whiplash

Your soft girl era doesn’t start with bubble baths and journaling.

That weird little girl with all the questions, all the curiosity, all the “too muchness”…

She is ME. And I am HER. 💯💖

The BIG difference now?
I don’t wait for outside approval before I move.

It wasn’t easy. It didn’t happen overnight.

But one decision at a time, I became UnFu*kwithable. 💪🏽✨

To get here, I had to release:
🖤 Old versions of me that no longer fit
🖤 The fears + shame that weren’t mine to carry
🖤 The voices of people who never truly saw me
🖤 Energy that dimmed my light

It’s what I portrayed to the world 🙃

How much I could carry.
How many storms I could survive.
How many times I could put myself last and still smile 😊

But here’s the truth nobody talks about:

That kind of “strength” will gut you from the inside out.

Because strength without support is just self-abandonment with better branding.

✨It looks like…
☠️Smiling while you’re silently crumbling.
☠️Showing up for everyone else, while disappearing from yourself.
☠️Thinking exhaustion is a badge of honor.

You’re Just an LPN

Words that have lived rent free in my head for far too long…

Imagine the series of accomplishments that had to take place to not only be accepted into nursing school but to then f*ckin survive it; graduate on time WHILE pregnant and already a mother of two little girls that I had when I was 15 and 19

Oh and I was the youngest in my class at the time (21)

To be diminished
Less than
Not good enough
Let along worthy

And I let that 💩 define me for years 🙃

It made me work my ass off so I’m not mad about it but today as I was washing my hair I heard those words loud and clear

And I decided that enough is enough💯

So I decided to write it out because it needs out of my head and back out into the world from where it came because it does NOT define a single ounce of WHO I AM 💖

It’s crazy how this world works at times and while we can’t control life doing its thing WE CAN control how we react

It’s crazy how we expect praise and acceptance from others before we seek it within ourselves

I no longer react to anyone’s opinions of me; it’s honestly not my business

I do value and protect my peace
My kids
My beliefs
My values
My energy

And I was told that my life was over.

Society said I’d become a statistic.
A young Black girl with a baby, destined to disappear into government assistance and survive on scraps.

But that’s not my story.

Instead, it became the beginning of my fight to reclaim myself; over and over again.

Through motherhood, nursing school and building a career that looked shiny on paper, but left me feeling numb inside.

And like so many of you, I wore strength and resilience like armor…
