I'm still kind of in shock.

I've been building lead gen funnels for over 10 years. We're talking OG Zapier days. Back when setting up a quiz funnel meant days of troubleshooting, probably a few tears, and either a hefty invoice from a developer or a serious time investment figuring it out yourself.

Today I built an entire automated lead gen funnel in a couple of hours.

And I'm not in tech. I can't code. I've never touched a Jira ticket in my life.

Here's exactly what got built today using Claude:

Day 2 of pressure testing Claude and it's already interesting.

Before I even typed a single request, I fed it three files:

A full user profile. A voice and writing system. An AI operating system that tells it how to think, not just what to do.

Copy. Paste. Done. Whoaaaa

From that point forward, it wasn't responding like a generic AI assistant. It was operating like someone who already knew my business, my voice, and my goals.

Then I connected my Google Workspace.

Not through some complicated API setup. Not through a developer. I linked it directly in the interface and within seconds, Claude was reading specific email threads, identifying the information that actually mattered, and helping me evaluate a potential partnership I'm actively exploring.

It drafted a response in my voice.

I reviewed it. Two clicks. Sent. That's not a demo it's a workflow!

This is what I mean when I say AI isn't the future of how we work. It's the present. And the gap isn't the technology, but knowing how to set it up so it actually works for you.

You’re not “writing prompts” anymore.
You’re building operating systems.
Here’s what a modern Claude 4.6 prompt actually looks like:

1. The Task
State the objective and define success.
“I want to [do X] so that [measurable outcome].”
That’s it.
No cosplay.
No “act as a world-class expert.”
We’re past that phase.

2. Context Lives in Files
Stop cramming background into the prompt.
Upload it.
“Read these files fully before responding:
– [File Name] – what it contains”
Your standards.
Your voice.
Your frameworks.
Your audience nuances.
AI shouldn’t be working off a sticky note.
Give it the book.

3. Show, Don’t Hope
If you want a certain output, provide an example.
Upload it.
Define tone.
Define structure.
Define patterns.
“Something like this” is lazy instruction.
Precision wins.

4. The Brief (The Only Part You Write Fresh)
Output type.
Length.
Constraints.
What it must NOT sound like.
What success means.
Everything else should already exist in files.

5. Rules > Vibes
Your standards belong in a master context file.
Then in the prompt:
“Read it fully. If you’re about to violate a rule, pause and tell me.”
You don’t hope for quality.
You enforce it.

6. Make It Ask You First
Old prompting = command and hope.
Modern prompting = collaboration.
“Do NOT execute yet. Ask clarifying questions so we refine the approach step by step.”
If the AI isn’t questioning you, it’s guessing.

7. Force a Plan Before Output
Before it writes a word:
“List the three rules from my context file that matter most for this task. Then outline your ex*****on plan.”
No blind production.
Strategic alignment first.

8. Alignment Before Action
Nothing gets written until both sides see the same target.
“Only begin once we’re aligned.”
That single line replaces years of messy prompting.
