The New moon in Libra opposite Mars (in retrograde) during Mercury retrograde is going to be an interesting time with intense feels and emotions. Though Libra tends to be a peace-maker inherently, given the planetary alignments surrounding this lunary we are in for quite the ride. This is the exact reason Seth and I have decided to give you all the gift of cleansing during this new moon. We will be performing a major cleansing ritual along with a blockbuster service which will purge you of all lower level vibrations and energies that no longer serve you. Those who participate in this ritual will also receive a Decoy bag which will be used as a means to confuse any negative energy or magick that is targeted to you. The decoy bag will ultimately take the hit leaving you safe and secure from any spiritual, magickal or energetic attack.

Anyone else feeling the intense energies of watery Cancer? Emotions will run high during this time brining about a transitional state. hen the moon is in the sign of Cancer we may feel a bit vulnerable, emotionally and sensitive. Today’s nourishment may be best obtained when at “home.” Cancer is big on family and home life. If you are feeling a bit out of place take a moment to think about what “home” means to you. Is it a place, person or thing? Figure this out for yourself and be present in whatever makes you feel most safe and stable. Let’s also remember that we are in the shadow period right before Mercury is retrograde, so take a step back to reconsider your emotions, thoughts and actions.

MEDITATION

A practical meditation that can be performed today is to simply allow ourselves to be present in the moment. Grab a sheet of paper or your journal. Sit in a quiet space. Allow all your emotions to take over and write down exactly what you are feeling. Read over your list of emotions and ask your spirit guides to bring you to a place of healing and peace. Today would also be great for a cord cutting ritual or a road opener working. You can also take a spiritual bath with epsom salt, lavender and rose.

In antiquity, Hekate was loved and revered as the goddess of the dark moon. People looked to her as a guardian against unseen dangers and spiritual foes.
All was well until Persephone, the goddess of spring, was kidnapped by Hades and ordered to live in the underworld for three months each year. Persephone was afraid to make the journey down to the land of the dead alone, so year after year Hekate lovingly guided her through the dark passageway and back. Over time Hekate became known as Persephone's attendant. But because Persephone was also the queen of the lower world, who ruled over the dead with her husband, Hades, Hekate's role as a guardian goddess soon became twisted and distorted until she was known as the evil witch goddess who stalked the night, looking for innocent people to bewitch and carry off to the underworld.

Tarot Reflection - Five of Swords

The Five of Swords comes through at a time where we are at battle either within ourselves or someone in our lives. This card can indicate loss of trust, betrayal, disagreements, sadness and the desire to win at any cost. But sometimes the cost of winning may be more than what we bargained for. You may have defeated your opponent bringing them to their knees but internally you lost much more than your opponent can ever lose.
