San Francisco, we’re coming for you! ✍️

Flax Pen to Paper is heading to the San Francisco Pen Show San Francisco Pen Show this weekend, and we’re bringing some of our favorites from the shop along for the ride.

Expect Pilot pens, TWSBI, Iroshizuku inks, Traveler’s Company, Plotter, Imperfect Concepts, Toyo Toolboxes, Colorverse inks and plenty more stationery goodness.

From July 29th - August 2nd, join us for the Los Angeles Stationery Store Crawl and celebrate the shops that keep paper, pens, and creativity alive.

Here’s how it works:
📖 Pick up a passport at your first participating shop (including Flax!)
📍 Collect a stamp at each store you visit.
🎉 Turn in your completed passport for a chance to win prizes.

The more shops you visit, the more prizes you can qualify for—including the Enthusiast Grand Prize for visiting all 16 participating stores.

Stop by Flax to pick up your passport, discover something new, and kick off your stationery adventure.

Today marks six years since we became the proprietors of FLAX, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful as we look back. What started as a new chapter has become something really special, thanks to our customers, friends, staff, and the creative community around us.

Over the years, we’ve loved welcoming familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching FLAX continue to grow as part of this community. Your support, encouragement, and loyalty mean so much to us, and we’re truly thankful for everyone who has been part of the journey.

A huge thank-you also goes to our amazing staff, who bring their talent, care, and good energy to FLAX every day. We’re celebrating six years of creativity, friendship, hard work, and plenty of great memories.
