Who are the book lovers out there? This is an interesting piece on dust covers. Ok, yeah, that may sound boring, but it's interesting that some people actually have strong feeling about dust covers. Although I do love the look of some hardcover books sans dust cover (mostly old ones with neat designs or embossing), I think book jackets (aka dust covers) are an important part of marketing these days. What do you think?

Some people would like to get rid of dust jackets — those glossy outer covers of hardcover books. But doing so would be terrible for casual book readers.

The latest additions to the Oxford English Dictionary have been announced, with 1,200 new words and 1,000 revised entries, including gender-fluid, YOLO, and 'Merica making the cut.
