The known results from the midterm elections show a Los Angeles in flux. A Los Angeles that’s moving forward with a new generation and new vision for the future despite feeling worrisome in the past several weeks (leaked tapes, a council on the verge of collapse, corruption, and a mayor who still can’t read the room - whether here in LA or in Mumbai).
The results this week underscore a vision for a new LA. One where cops no longer control large swaths of budgets. Where young, dynamic leaders are pushing for transparency and change.
Despite nationwide anxiety, LA is leading the way. And yes, we love to see it.
