Day 2: 20k+ Steps with scattered Showers

We started exploring the woodlands surrounding the Meji Jingu Shrine.

After we went to the Tomigaya district to check out the boutique stores around The Monacle Shop (“Read More” Shirt).

When it started to pour we found ourselves in a local soba restaurant where Pooneh got the katsu and I got some grilled mackerel to have with my soba.

The rest of the day we shopped in Harajuku. Pooneh found some sweet ASICS at the flagship store and I found some dope NB’s that had a collab with the store Atmos.

I loved that the stores would put little rain jackets on each bag because of the rain!

We ate sushi that night at a place where you ordered each bite as you went and they would hold up new fish as they began preparation to get your appetite going as you make yourself a cup of green tea.

We went to Japan at the end of October and have finally gotten around to posting about our trip.

The first leg of our two week trip started in Shibuya.

I was ecstatic to find a Toto electric toilet in our hotel.

We took a walk around the block which put us in the center of the busiest intersection in the world.

We explored the multiple floors of Tower Records.

Then got our first tastes of Family Mary and 7/11
