When I started my consulting business 6 years ago, I felt the immense responsibility of being a strategy consultant. I started small, delivering trainings and 1:1 coaching. From there, I built up to facilitating retreats and finally took the leap to lead comprehensive strategy projects.

Clients welcomed me as their strategy consultant. I pulled out all of my 20+ years of my experience to give them the best and most impactful consulting possible.

Together, we have worked with over 100 organizations, through Leadership Savvy, over the past 5 years. That's 100 missions, 100 boards & staff, 100 communities, and over 160 projects that we have made a positive difference on.

🎨 Piece By Piece uses art and recycled products to create a supportive community for individuals who have experienced homelessness or economic insecurity. Just facilitated their Board retreat. Bought one of their kits to make my own mosaic craft and support a good cause.

If only more retreats could be at such reinvigorating location. Being outdoors (even in little ways) really helps groups relax, disconnect from daily tasks, reconnect with each other and discuss shared goals.

This new year instead of wishing for what I want in 2024, let's take a moment to appreciate the beautiful hearts and minds we've been blessed to work with in 2023. That's 30 clients over 40 projects to be exact!

Julie Ha Truong, Founder of Leadership Savvy shares her thoughts this Coffee Day October 1, 2023. She was inspired to write this after learning about two purpose driven coffee companies -- one honoring Immigrants and Refugees, featuring coffees from all over Southeast Asia and another is a coffee roaster that was co-founded and run by people who are or who have experienced homelessness.
