Binge read this amazing new book from my BFF 📚 And it was just named one of the Best Debuts of the Summer🌞
A college reunion turns dark and deadly in this chilling and propulsive suspense novel about six friends, one unsolved murder, and the dark secrets they’ve been hiding from each other—and themselves—for a decade 🔪
I NEVER read fiction and I stayed up until 1am reading aloud to because we were hooked. So many unexpected plot twists. I recognize I’m slightly biased, but highly recommend scooping this up if you’re looking for a great new summer read that you won’t be able to put down🔥

"WHAT'S THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN?"

You've heard the phrase.

It used to be the default phrase I said to myself during moments of hesitation in an attempt to get me over whatever fear was presenting itself. 👀

Examples:
▶️ Big presentation at work… What's the worst that could happen?
▶️ Performance review with my manager… What's the worst that could happen?
▶️ Negotiating a job offer… What's the worst that could happen?

The problem with saying, "What's the worst that could happen?" is it puts in your head potential worst-case scenarios. And thinking worst case can either make us realize how small our fear is… OR it can make us more fearful. 👎

So instead of thinking worst case, I've switched that to say, "WHAT'S THE BEST THAT COULD HAPPEN?"

It helps manifest what I want in my mind so I can go after it with confidence.

The next time you find yourself hesitating due to fear, ask yourself, "WHAT'S THE BEST THAT COULD HAPPEN?" 🤔

And then let those positive thoughts and feelings propel you forward. 🙌 🌟

Today is ... a day to raise awareness of the achievements and struggles of women 💪🏻 💪🏼 💪🏽 💪🏾 💪🏿
This year’s theme is … a day to encourage people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world ❤️
Two fun facts that I learned this morning about women…
➡️ ACHIEVEMENT: The two highest IQ scores in recorded history belong to women 🔥
➡️ STRUGGLE: Only 2% of women describe themselves as beautiful 😱
And while I can believe that some of that comes from humility, that percentage is still shockingly low. When I read that, I didn’t just see “beautiful” as something external, for me it hit home both externally and internally.
Women are hard on themselves. I know that I am. To me, inclusivity includes self-love 💗
I’m a big believer that challenging yourself doesn’t have to come with intense pressure. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. It doesn’t have to be a big grand gesture (unless you want it to be). It doesn’t even have to be something people see externally.
It can start with something small. It can be personal, internal, and something you do for yourself 💫
I choose to challenge myself to be more inclusive. One way I’ll do this: to use my voice to tell some of the women closest to me what makes them beautiful and inspiring 📣
Happy International Women's Day 🦋

Just like great customer service often requires putting yourself second, great leadership is the same.
Here's a challenge for today... start your day by asking how you can help your team. 💡
✅ Is anyone waiting on you for something?
✅ Is there anything you can proactively do to help?
And then go execute that first. Make the beginning of your day about them. ⭐️

Welcome to the first official workday of 2021! Like many, after time off for the holidays, I notice the anxiety and pit in my stomach as I prepare to return to work. Why are the "Sunday Scaries" so prevalent after the holidays?
It's partly the sadness that holidays are over, the loss of complete control of schedules, and the stories we tell ourselves about work when we return. Sound familiar?
🔴 "It's a new year, so people will expect me to be on my A-game."
🔴 "Everyone is probably feeling refreshed and ready to dig in with their priorities. I haven't even finalized mine yet!"
🔴 "I won't have a moment to catch my breath."
How accurate is this? The truth is that many people are feeling this way. You're not alone.
✅ Swipe to check out a few friendly coaching reminders to help you get through today.
Stories are just that, stories we tell ourselves about what work will be like. Kicking a$$ means doing it authentically, the way that is right for you.🔥

Calling all my perfectionists!
As a member of your tribe, I understand how tough it can be to show flaws and vulnerably share unique opinions, especially if they go against the grain. How critical we can be on ourselves, and the fear of not being good enough if you aren't seen as perfect. 🙊🙉🙈
I want to share with you my mantra today. Because perfectionism isn't interesting, and your authentic self is a gift to the world. 💫💯🎁
I hope it helps.
