Rise. Resist. Reclaim. 🔥⚔️
Honored doesn’t begin to cover it.
Being recognized by the SOVAS Awards for Of Fire and Ashes is one of the most meaningful moments of my career because bringing a fully female-led, immersive fantasy to life for the first time was a milestone I’ll never forget.
In this interactive audiodrama, I voice Princess Sophia, accused of murdering her father, betrayed, hunted, captured, and forced into a destiny she never chose. Her world is burning… and she must rise anyway.
I also voice Lyssa, Sophia’s confidant and Jace’s sister, a woman torn between loyalty, truth, and legacy.
Two women. Two emotional worlds.
Both demanding vulnerability, strength, and precision.
And none of this would exist without my team.
Author Caley Robison has become not just a collaborator but a true friend a woman I’d go to battle with (more than figuratively… Tides of Deception fans know 😉). Her fierce, female-driven stories are worlds worth fighting for.
Karl turns my raw audio into cinematic gold, smoothing pops, rescuing pronunciation mishaps 😳😑 and elevating every moment. A true audio alchemist.
Luke Bromley brings me to tears every. single. time.
A powerful duet partner, storyteller, and friend, our dynamic is the heartbeat of this audiodrama.
And with Colton Iverson and Dinah Wagner, this didn’t become an audiobook, it became a world. A living universe.
Matt, thank you for giving it a platform to be heard and dealing with that dreaded 3 letter word 😂
And the best part?
You can step into that world for free at AudioMazes.com.
Of Fire and Ashes is the first in a saga of powerful women, ancient secrets, and the fire we all carry inside.
