TBT: Another example of on a dry erase wall that was done in Italy. The speaker was renowned marketing and branding expert, Scott Bedbury. So what separates the winners from the losers in the branding space? It's how you do it (Nike); how you look (Norma Jean reinvented herself to become a Hollywood icon); and how you make customers feel (note, this scribing was so old that it was pre-smart phone, so the transformative example was the iPod not the iPhone).

TBT: I got my start in 1992 scribing mostly on dry erase walls with MG Taylor Corporation. Since then, I've done in many different ways. But though the opportunities are rare nowadays for me to scribe on dry erase (I'm mainly a solo act working on paper or digital now), I still love it. Why? Because of the scale, immediacy, and flexibility, to create real-time magic. This example was done in Italy. The presenter was a musician who was brought in to inspire the company by teaching music's principles of collaboration, adaptability, and planning. Scribing on dry erase walls for me is equivalent to a jazz musician improvising through a standard musical piece. On a dry erase walls I often say I'm as fast as my thoughts.

Climate crisis is real — not just from an ecological standpoint, but a cultural one. The political climate has become more hostile to independent scientific research and groups focused on environmental conservation. I am thankful for their work, and it is an honor to use my real-time visual storytelling skills to support organizations like the Nature Conservancy, working to better our planet.
